ups and downs, strikes and gutters.
here i sit in my nighty and loverly new winter hat black and red checked lined with sherpa and sporting a brim and ear flaps ala lumberjack listening to the one and only bob marley and thinking about all the people i love. for some reason, and i'm not wishing it a way, this week has been exceptionally painless and lest i get ahead of myself i might go as far as to say i think that i am starting to get a little used to this city business. at least i am hating it less and school has become more of a joke and thing that gets in my way rather than a consuming ache in my stomach.
with that said i've got two more weeks in the semester till i'm done and can't wait. after these next two weeks of everything ugly (papers, examns, craming, then finals) i've got a month off of school to spend in rural northern wisconsin with my hommies snowshoeing, drinking, baking cookies, saunning, going to the gym with letisha my lover, and just all around cooling it (literally).
these days i've got a smile on my face. it feels like its been awhile, this smile is long over due but has arrived at least for the time being.
