I'm so glad I can help you and her. This is the litter thing I was telling you about. It has been a godsend when it comes to keeping a clean smelling litter box in a little apartment.

These are the two dry cat foods I use because of their decent ingredients:

No corn or corn meal in them (the research I did recently says that corn is really bad for cats) I've looked at the ingredients for all the common brands and they all have corn, often as the first ingredient.

It seems that even one can a day of wet food goes a long way to keeping a cat healthy, since its where they get half of their water intake.

I also recommend a covered litter box and a mat under it to catch the litter from her paws as she comes out, especially with her long hair (Loki has long hair between his toes, which makes him track litter so much more).

The little stuffy was such a neat prop. Apparently it was supposed to bite us if we reached in for the puzzle piece, but we just tried to roleplay with it instead so the NPC playing him ran with it. It was fantastic.

I did go with the Blue Buffalo dry food for grazing/away weekends and got canned food to feed her in the evening. Thanks for your advice!

Grace has a vet's appointment this Friday morning.

After that, we'll slowly acquire all the cat things!

I hope she is well...and picking up weight. Poor sweet thing was too thin.

She has a full round belly now! Yesterday we started doing some light play with a fabric strip/scrap, now that her energy is up. I even caught her chasing her tail once this morning.

I figure she'll start rebuilding her muscle mass and fill out a bit over the next few months.
