Rest in Peace Jen
I lost a friend to breast cancer yesterday. She was only 33 years old. She was amazing person, and though I only spent time with her for a few years, she touched my heart and I will never forget her. She was a great friend when I was in need of one.
Many of you have been to KRF and I'm sure many know the trown drunk played by Gary. He was also the music director. The year I started at KRF a wonderful young woman named Jennifer started as well. We were both shy so we kind of stuck together through most of the apprentice training and became good friends. The second year there she started to date Gary. She was also diagnosed with breast cancer.
Last week they got married rather unexectedly. I can only assume they knew this was coming.
I haven't seen either one of them in a few years, but kept in contact through facebook. Jen will be greatly missed by many people, she was a OT and devoted a lot of her time to helping deaf/blind people. I can't believe she is gone.
My heart is hurting today.
