Just for the records, let's note this brilliant night in baseball history...

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH man, those Red Sox never cease to amaze. Wouldn't it be crazy if they won one more and then the Yankees won the last one and they were tied up at the end of the regular season? Or if there was a three way tie between them and the Tribe??? WHOA, the possibilities.

Yeah, so it's unfortunate none of my LJ friends are real baseball fans (at least the majority), 'cause you're missing out on the nice cutting the season down to the bone! WOW, it's intense. Remember two seasons ago when Derek Lowe was pitching in a tight situation against Terrence Long of Oakland and he pitched this curving, inside slider that hit the inside corner of the plate to end the game? That was AWESOME! I was so going to poo myself from the tension. Course then they moved on to face the Yankees, and awesome series. Then last season it was CRAYYYYYYYZAYYYYYYYYYY. That's all I can say about that. Who can still believe that story? Anyone and everyone, 'cause it is and was so possible. I NEVER gave up hope. I'm not making this up. My dad is always disappointed easily in his Sox, obviously being a fan from his birth in Lowell (out near Beantown) and never seeing them win, but I KEPT THE FAITH. I'm not lying--I always thought it was possible. Of course there are moments of doubt, but you've gotta counter that, 'cause ANYTHING'S possible in this game, and that's what makes it so damn wonderful!
