(11:15:41 PM) Me: I had already met the Divas a few months ago when they attended a private Open House at Nova Armament
(11:15:57 PM) Me: they're all at least 15 years older than I am
(11:17:01 PM) Me: we met-and-greeted for the first half hour, then we went on the range
(11:17:12 PM) Me: our shooting event was something of a competition
(11:17:52 PM) Me: we paired up and we'd shoot at various targets for score
(11:18:02 PM) Me: highest scores won prizes
(11:18:13 PM) Me: it cost me $25 to shoot with the group
(11:18:34 PM) Me: and on the first 'challenge' I shot the highest score, and won a $25 gift card to Best Buy
(11:19:00 PM) Me: I intentionally paired up with the oldest lady there (she looked to be in her late 50's)
(11:19:32 PM) Me: she was the n00best person there...so it was mainly a safety thing that I paired up with her
(11:19:49 PM) Me: I could instruct her and keep her safe
(11:20:11 PM) Me: but as a team, we also won a couple of the shooting challenges, too
(11:20:23 PM) Me: (I guess I was something of a ringer)
(11:21:20 PM) Me: we each won a $10 gift card to Wegman's, and at the end we had the highest score so we also won a coffee mug and a cap (she gave me the $10 card, I gave her the coffee mug)
(11:21:41 PM) Me: so...I actually kinda 'made money' on this little event

(11:25:19 PM) Me: so...none of the women were really my 'type', but it was fun and interesting to shoot at things other than bullseye targets
(11:26:21 PM) Me: the final challenges involved putting up four cards, each with a number, in random order and arrangement
(11:26:48 PM) Me: each shooter would have five rounds
(11:27:21 PM) Me: on command, the shooter would fire a round at the indicated target...most correct hits wins
(11:27:52 PM) Me: only at 5 yards, so it was pretty easy for me
(11:27:58 PM) Me: but it was fun.
