1st, I'm so glad you linked to this story in the more recent Bruce/Selina. -- Okay, I just got slammed with some bad news and my sister is getting married this weekend (and has that been some stressful fun too), so I don't know what you mean? I didn't link it to the bat/cat fandoms and I was waiting to put up the whole series in the TDKR. Did I put a link on "Forgiveness" and forgot about it? Use small words.

2nd, are you seriously ending here??? Err, no? Part 3 is going up as soon as I finish my business shit I have to get done before we travel tomorrow.

Okay, I got the email sent, so my headspace is getting better. At least it feels like the brain has turned on.

That covered, I like how you're bringing in the var elements, particularly your bad guys (I'm pondering Cobblepott, too). --"var elements"? I can't figure out that typo, I'm sorry.

But yes, more of the Rogues Gallery! Stop depending on the Joker, fandom! *Sigh* I didn't realize that was annoying me until someone else announced they were considering a BatCat with Joker as the antagonist story and *headdesk* from me. Then nobody's been paying this story any attention, which I figured was lack of BatCat, but now the muse is all a-twitter that the Riddler story that is planned out for a different series won't get any readers either.

I swear I'll be less of a headcase responding to any other comments tonight. *Boy Scout salute*

The first part felt more jumpy than the second, but overall I've really enjoyed it. Now on to read the most recent story before I lose it. -- Valid point, I composed it as one long story, but have to break it up for the post considerations (and I think I figured out the probably I'm having with FF.net uploading is thanks to size), so I picked the most cliff-hangery spots to break.

Now I have to go break bad news to parents and then I can post the third part.

I now see why this is a confusing comment to have made. I've been reading this on my phone's browser, which has been doing wonky things with tabs, and so I thought that the older Bruce/Selina story was the more recent one and this one was the older. Which prompted the next comment of...

...since I could have sworn the story was complete. And the story I thought I was reading is complete. It's just not this story. Sorry for the confusion. Stressed-out brains really don't need any additional work.

"var elements" is not a typo, it's shorthand for "various elements [of the bat-world]"

And now that I understand that I *am* reading the current story and not the old one, please disregard all comments regarding being done sooner vs. later or at any time at all. I have no timely-posting high ground upon which to stand in that regard.

As for the stories not being read...where else are you posting? It sounds like ff.net. I'm surprised it's not getting hits by fans in general. I mean, Nolan virtually ignored Joker like he wasn't even there in the last movie. Why can't that work for fan-writers, too?

Amen to that. Okay, now it's finished: Part Three is up now. I consider this number 5 of the series that really needs a name. Story number 4 is Forgiveness is for the Living and it's finished and ignored on LJ. :p

"var elements" is not a typo, it's shorthand for "various elements [of the bat-world]" OOOOOOOOOOH! Now it makes sense. :D I love shifting the elements to fit in the Nolanverse. Now if only the rest of the Justice League would cooperate, I'd have happier readers.

Where I post? The Library (but I'm used to everyone ignoring my website), FF.net (which is habit right now, but sometimes I get good responses), and LJ. Now I haven't posted this story to the BatCat comms because BatCat doesn't show up until part three and you have to squint and remember what was talked about "Entwined Fates." Now that the whole series is done, I'll post the teasers for all stories to the TDKR comm you pointed me to, but it'll have to wait until next week.

I'm thinking about joining Archive of Our Own, but I haven't weighed out the pros and cons yet.

The Joker: "Adaptation" and "You Look Better in Pearls" both used the Joker to pull Bruce and Selina back to Gotham, and I would put them in the better written stories. 90% of the summaries of the Harley Sue stories made me go "eww no, you SO missed the point" and I didn't bother reading. So when two more writers that I've been following said their next stories would feature Joker and I had my reaction.

They'll probably be good stories and I'll end up reading them. There's just so much potential and I can't reach it all by myself. :p
