Oops, I LOL'ed so loud I woke up the boyfriend.
Anyway, my first thought reading this was, "NO! You have to take your son camping, Mr. Other Neal. You're going to scar him for life!"
But I guess it sounds like he's already got neglected-child-of-divorce-and-or-working-parent-in-tv-drama syndrome already.

My goal with crossovers is to write it where a fan of one can read it and not be totally lost without it becoming a exposition mess. And as a writer, I'm nervous as hell that this plot point will veer into OCC/no suspension of disbelief.
Medical Investigations background: first episode establishes Connor is separated from his wife Lisa and can't even get enough time off of his job to watch Jack's baseball game. A couple of episodes later Connor finally has a chance to break the news to Jack that he and Lisa are divorcing, Jack is not nearly as upset as Connor is ( ... )
