I have my first workout with my personal trainer tonight at 7pm = nervous! I'll report back on just how much muscle strength I've lost since High School, where I was forced by coaches to lift weights regularly.
I bought a really adorable compartmentalized bento box for lunches yesterday (I heart asian grocery stores). Made my first lunch for it today. I lurve it. The 650ml size is just about ideal for me. I think it will really help me contain the size of my lunch = reasonable amt. of calories consumed = not shooting myself in the foot in the balance of diet and exercise. Also, found a book on japanese bento lunches to buy @ amazon. May look for others. Also want books with more american style lunch recepies. Initial lunch-break amazon search hints that this is not an easy task. Focus seems to be on "easy, quick lunches kids will actually eat." = not what I am looking for.
I actually, really, amazingly... paid of my car loan = shock and happiness. Took me only a year and three months! = pride. 60 month pay schedule my butt! (It helped that my boss went on a 6 month vacation and they gave me both his bonus and my bonus, oherwise I'd not have gone nearly as far as fast. Claire=responsible=did not spend $ on stuff for fun [other than a FEW skeins of yarn, i promise].)
I found out that gelatin packets have a "jello" recepie on them that's Fruit juice + gelatin (no sugar) that I'm going to make in little 2oz plastic containers to add to my bento. I can add it in the large compartment, which is supposed to be for carbs. Since it's basically all fruit juice, I suppose that's where it belongs. I think I'm going to start with an organic 100% blueberry juice and work my way through the juice section of the store. I do have about 2,000 little 2oz plastic containers. I bought them in bulk from restaurant supply to use for stuff in craft projects.
My dad actually put my graduation dress in the mail! It should be arriving in about a week. Also arriving soon in the mail are some books for helping me with this art project. I suspect some trips to fabric and bead stores are in my future.
My mom is dying my junior prom dress black or navy. I told her she could do that instead of buying a dress for an event she has coming up. It fits her perfectly, I will NEVER wear it again (memories associated with both a bad prom and a bad ex), and light blue is not her color. Plus it has some water stains from prom... I splatted the entire interior of a stuffed chicken breast all over the front of it and spent 1/3 of prom in the bathroom under the little hot air hand-dryer to get it cleaned. My dad, however, can't find the dress. We know it's at the house.
We're visiting the first possible reception site on Thursday = excited.
