Congratulations! That's good job news! And good news on completing this last certification! You're quite accomplished. :)

Congrats on doing so well on your MCDBA exam! Cool. I think Clent definitely knows he won't get someone with your skillset for what he was paying you.

I'm sure you'll do fine in your classes, so long as you actually *go* to class. heh.

Your other job at ABS was crap anyway.
What a joke it was. Hardly qualified as a "programming" job but more like a babysitting job for the other "programmers".
I say good riddance to bad rubbish.

And as far as going to class... don't sweat it. You've done more with no college degree than most with a bachelor's.
Don't let little pissants with a degree make you feel inferior, or patronize you with inane comments like "I'm sure you'll do fine in your classes, so long as you actually *go* to class."

I'm getting the degree, slowly but surely.

Raegan and I were talking to the mortgage people about our house, and the guy said, "how many years have you been in school, 12 being HS Grad." I said, "um... the answer to that question is 22, but I think you want 15."

...

I was joking about the going to class comment... I think Nate knows what I meant... and was in no way meant as an insult ... I think Nate would agree that I've never waved my degree in his, or anyone else's, face... If I did then my apologies... though I *am* proud of it, it was hard! it doesn't make me better ... but a degree is never a sure indicator of talent or ability... and I am certainly not a star, much less superstar, developer... Nate certainly knows more about this stuff than I do.

Nate, my apologies if I ever made you feel inferior. We both know you're a better dev than me.
