Roberts was nice. I definitely had a better perspective on the college and college life in general the second time around. The rose-colored glasses were gone, and I could see it for what it really is. Not that it's bad, but I'm not so sure it's good, either. In all, I think this weekend raised more questions than it answered. It's all just so confusing right now!
The audition itself was a bit nerve-wracking. Lydia did her best to calm me down before-hand :) I had to go into this huge, gorgeous recital room that was all shiny and new, and I got to play a BEAUTIFUL black Steinway. I played the waltz first, and when I got to the top of the last page, Dr. Hill said, "Ok, it's very repetitive, we've heard enough, go on to the next one. And don't play the repeats." :O I wasn't expecting that!
And we watched... OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKLAHOMA Saturday night in the cultural center. It was really really professional, Laury and Curly (or the people who were playing them) had beautiful voices!
And Pre-Calc homework is calling me...So Goodnight!
