I feel old
Camp shoulda been good, and it was, at times, but I had the odd feeling that something was missing. Maybe I'm getting too old for it :(
I did have fun, tho. We went bowling one day, and I bowled an 85!!! And, I got a strike and a spare!
The day we went to the lodge, I lounged inside, and bought a cup of hot water (for twenty-five cents. Had I wanted to add a tea bag to my cup of hot water, it woulda been 1.25 more!) to keep me warm, cuz the lodge was freezing. Cay, Phi, Joey, Nathaneal, and I played a loooong game of Uno- I lost. And Tricia and I had a talk about, oddly enough, the impact we can have for heaven on earth, which turned out to be the topic. Bro. Joe gave the lectures, and they were really practical. Storing up treasures in heaven doesn't necessarily mean going to Australia and working with the Aborigines or something, although it could. But, it can be as easy as sending some money to a missionary instead of eating out. Unfortuately, I'm still kinda in the dark about next year.
The coffeehouse was cool. Haha, it make me feel so mature to sit there and sip my hot cider, while listening to beautiful music. Sarah and Rebekah Gordon have AMAZING voices! And Clara, Pauline, and I did a pretty good job, too, I think. It was weird having the mike right in my face, made me feel kinda important (almost like Josh Groban, hahaha) :)
