It's official.
It's finally official. Kelly and I are divorced, we signed the papers this afternoon.
I was really freaking out about this, not because I thought she would take me to the cleaners, but more because she's been a part of my life for so long, part of it was because I was scared to let go, but I admit, a lot of it was worrying about how the kids were going to take it. Over the past week up here, we've made a point of talking very openly to them about everything, letting them know that we both still love them very much and even though I live in Los Angeles, nothing is going to change. I will always be a part of their lives, as will Uncle Aaron and Uncle Greg. It's all going to be just like it has been for the past year, they'll come out and stay with us as often as possible, and when ever I can, I will come back here and spend time with them, hopefully with Aaron. I want him to be just as much a part of their lives as Greg is going to be. I can't see that being a problem, they love him, and not just because he spoils them rotten. *grins*
And, I owe my man a big night out, I missed his birthday, not because I forgot, but because I was so busy with Ice Time and clients, so many charters this summer. I know he says he understands, but that still is no excuse, I feel bad about it. Babe, I promise, as soon as I get back, I'm all yours, the sky is the limit. Thank you for being so patient with me over these past several months, but it's all done, my mind is back in LA with you, where it belongs.
