What ever will become of me?
Results of ES 11 killer third exams are out. I still haven't seen mine yet because my professor says that he will get depressed while recording our scores. The results are really bad and just to give you an idea of how awful they were, I'm going to feed you some statistics:
2 out of around 480 people passed.
(((Those two are actually my batchmates in EEE.))
Average score of the entire batch is 25%.
I kid you not.

I'm guessing my score is in the twenties...
Still related to ES, there has been talk of making adjustments to our scores. The first proposal was to make the total score equal to 300 instead of 400. When that was implemented, only around 3 people per section (16 sections, about 30 students each) passed the exam. I don't know if it's finalized yet but a friend told me that we are going to have a retake of the third exam. 20% of our score would come from the previous third exam and the remaining 80% from the retake. The same people who made the third exam would be making the retake and the questions would be of the same difficulty. Ohhhhhhkkkkkaaaaay...
God, please, just a 3.0 is all I am asking! I do not want to fail and take this subject again. I want to go ahead and proceed to ES 12 and get the hell off the ES department's clutches. Please and thank you.
On an unrelated note, Ma'am Gev told us that the new Eng'g library will be opening next week! We, EEE people, being detached from the rest of the college, are happy and we rejoiced over the said opening. Ma'am Gev described to us the new discussion rooms and my friends and I were like, "Tara! Tambay tayo sa discussion room!" Yeah, we're nerds.
