Stinky hot....
Ok... too hot. Just too hot. Ceiling fans on, cross breeze going, and it's still stinky hot. I'm definitely taking an ice block to bed. (no comments from the peanut gallery on that one!)

We were advised that unfortunately the air conditioner would not be running during the weekend (maintenance), and we should "dress appropriately".
You must understand that during the weekday this building normally has 800 people in it, and this weekend I bet that at least 80 people were working some part of the weekend. I really glad that I got the night shift - it was becoming quite unbearable when I left.
It's funny. About half an hour after I got there my manager showed up. I didn't expect to see him because he didn't have any duties during the install, but he was there for moral support. He brought a case of Red Bull. On the main floor where the command center was, there was additional cases of Red Bull, coffee, and periodic deliveries of food.
When I got home, I had been up for about 26 hours. But dammit I couldn't go to bed because upstairs was just too stinking hot. I ended up napping on the couch (cats liked that) for 2 hours. Then we went to a friend's for a housewarming until 3:30am. :)
I slept well last night.
