(no subject)
So I have been awfully neglectful of LJ recently. Apologies.
Life kind of exploded, after a year and a bit of having no responsibility and no deadlines I suddenly have them again and it took me by surprise.
Anyway brief notes on RL highlights:
-Uni seems to be going well. I'm enjoying it! This is new! And exciting!
-Made some friends, some turned out to be complete and utter soul-suckers. Ditching them asap.
-Co-founded the first LGBT society at my uni *\o/* I am official Treasurer now, I would prefer to be Secretary but hey ho. Maybe next year.
-Planning the first gay-friendly night at the union. Oh yes. I'm thinking drag act.
-Currently writing my first essay in two years. Shitting myself as it's business mergers. I am far more confident with humanities based essays as that is all I've ever done.
-Started running and yoga. Loving both even if I am shit at running (today I ran for 15 minutes, I'm doing baby steps)
-Saw Paramore at the O2. They were incredible. Almost went to Wembley Arena for it though (which would have been 'not fine')
-Fallen in love with Sherlock Holmes. Reading all the original stories.
Still alive and ferocious! Which considering where I was this time of year when I first went to uni? Pretty fucking unbelievable.
