First Disc weekend!
Winter DUDE has commenced. My team is blue and we are "Antarctica Freeze". We played against rkleemann's team Salsa Verde for a fun game full of good sportsmanship. I enjoyed all my girls that I was marked against and even caught a few points. I also enjoyed our "for fun" game at the end. I handled a bit which resulted in throwing to the other team... but that's what you get when you don't touch a disc between Summer and Winter DUDE.
In other news, asthran recommended "Repo! The Genetic Opera" to me. It was weird, but rockin'. As I think on it more and more, I like it more and more. It's stars important people like Anthony Stewart Head and Paris Hilton. I am fairly sure that this is an important one for geek culture, so if you've missed it, track it down. Especially feydreams, genuinekfc, and zensister.
Also, I shocked and horrified my boyfriend and friend yesterday when I recited the poem:
A one L'ed Perl is the book
A two L'ed llama for the look
And who do we have to thank for it all
But a three L'ed Larry Wall.
Apparently, my gym rat phase has been so successful, that those closest to me have forgotten that I have real geek nerd heritage!
