Texting= FAIL!
What is the deal with texting being god and all other methods of communication are ignored??? We have two friends who will NEVER answer their cell phones-- even equipped as they are with caller ID. You have to either leave them a voicemail and wait for them to call you immediately back, or text them and get an immediate response! What is the deal with refusing to just freaking answering the phone??
I didn't realize how rampant this was until I needed to talk to my two out-of-state siblings to coordinate X-Mas plans last week! I E-mailed them repeatedly...nothing. Sent them messages on Facebook...tried calling and leaving voicemails. Nothing. However...when I finally resorting to texting them, 10 SECONDS AFTER I HIT SEND they BOTH responded!! GAAAAAAAH!! What is happening to society?
Texting is lame when you're trying to coordinate detailed plans or talk to someone! Your messages are limited to a small size, and it takes forever to write out a text compared to an E-mail or even Facebook private message! I. Don't. Get. It! MY HEAD A-SPLODE!! ANSWER YOUR F-ing PHONE!!
