Well, first I think Goku looks a little more on the "I am going to kick someones ass" than happy go lucky. Second, things tend to go from good to bad and back to good again. Don't give up before you see the end, and don't look down on your task before you start. I know, it seems a little cliche coming from me, but don't worry too much, you are a good person and everyone gets back up from these problems.
