Okay, I know I'm a little late with the new years blog.
So, 2006 is over.
Such an eventful year it was, too.
There are so many trips, days, moments, and people that will never be forgotten.
I would be a fool to try to name them all.
But a few I will mention.
1. To begin the year, going to the Cotton Bowl.
2. Meeting a girl at graduation that I thought I could have a chance with.
3. Graduation night on Hirsch's porch with cigars.
4. The ridiculously long megadate with the girl mention in number 2.
5. The sadness I felt when I had to leave Tuscaloosa.
6. Actually getting a job in my field right out of school.
7. Making several great new friends in Arab.
8. Talking to Hirsch, and several random others, every Saturday in the fall.
9. Being offered a new job in Huntsville.
10. Year round, the moments that made me feel as though I could fly... and the few that made me feel as though I should jump.
But, again, 2006 is over.
Those things are merely memories.
And a new year has begun.
A year that presents me with a new life.
And a year that will present me with new memories.
Long live the old memories.
And make room for the new.
Have a great 2007 everyone.
