I don't think its fair that society demands me to drink. I don't think I should need a reason not to drink other then "I really just don't want to, I enjoy the wholesomeness of being sober." It's not that people hassle me to drink, its just that I'd like to know a group of people that don't drink. Just for piece of mind. And its not like I have a problem with people who DO drink, its just, I never fully understood the concept. I have the same reason for not drinking, that I do for being a vegetarian, and that is that I have no idea why. Also, I find it odd that I have about 10x more vegetarian friends then straight-edge. I guess I want to try to set an example, I don't want my little cousins to start drinking.
Also, Whats so bad about being christian? Sure theres a lot of stupid christians out there, but thats not exactly what the religions based on. I guarentee there's stupid athiests, jews, and wiccans.
