Summary: Life is a tricky thing, much more nuanced than classic clichés would suggest. Not everyone gets their happy ending. But it is those very tragedies of life that make it worth living, worth making the most of the precious time we have on earth. Kurt Hummel learns this the hard way after his husband dies, leaving him a widower and a single father who turns homeward to Lima to escape the reality of his life without the man he loves. But sometimes, good things can come out of heartbreak. Sometimes, diverged paths rejoin, aged with time but as strong as ever. Sometimes love can be rediscovered. And sometimes...life can go on. Cannon through 3x21.
