Whew, what a day!

Today I spent my day walking around the big city, mostly to go ahead and get my Christmas shopping out of the way. Some amazing things happened today as well. It took a little while to get off the campus on time because the Saturday shuttle got stuffed to the brim with people standing in the aisles, and those that couldn't fit had to get off. For some reason, my college's personal shuttle bus, The Valiant, only got used for the first two weeks of the semester, then it started to use this wierd yellow school bus. I'm gonna go to the next campus meeting and asked what exactly happened to it because it was much roomier. Anyways I'm rambling, so I'll just get to the bullet points

-I was walking by Bryant Park to get to Kinokuniya, and I saw a Hetalia school-uniform costume meetup! I went to take some pictures with my cell phones since I didn't have my camera. It was so cool though!

-While walking through the park afterward, I found a stand that had my favorite much-missed treat of Osaka: TAKOYAKI!!! (they're these little round fritters with a piece of broiled octopus tentacle inside, and then topped with savory sauce and other seasonings. Sounds weird, but it tastes great). The stand also had okonomiyaki!!! I only got Takoyaki though, and it. tasted. amazing. Oh flavor of takoyaki, how I have missed thee!

-Found some presents for family and friends today. Better I got it out of the way rather than wait 'till the big rush and risk having something be gone.

-It was kinda hard to get around on the usual BDFV orange line in the subway because they changed schedules, and they were also doing track construction. So there were delays. fun! *sarcasm*

Aside from those highlights, it was a usual, hectic NYC day. I COULD say where I visited for gift shopping and what I found, but I have friends whom I bought for that can read this, so it's all hush hush! Just have to wait 'till Christmas!

Now I'm gonna go play some games and eat a riceball and apple for my dinner (not really that hungry for a full meal). Later!
