:-) What did you do/get/give/whatever for Christmas?
It's Christmas morning so I haven't opened presents from the immediate family yet, but I know I got a coat from my mom so it's all good.... it's black and puffy and warm and long. PERFECT for the cold chicago winters downtown.... tho probably too warm for today grrr... silly weather, rain is for spring! We got my brother a guinea pig... he will be so excited! But he hasn't woken up yet to see it.
Last night was so fun... went to my christmas and then to ryan's... got home at around midnight... I got:
2 pairs of jeans from my cousin Tina
Bag of goodies from aunt Kathy and Uncle Fred ($25 for Best Buy + snacks)
Chili's gift cert. from aunt Susie
card and money from Aunt Barb and uncle Gooch
YOGA BOOT BALLET from mom! I am so serious.... I showed it to her on commercials and we laughed about it... but now that I'm doing exercise every monday and wednesday with Lauren, she figured I could try it out! (for those who haven't seen it, there's an infomercial on all the time at night for it)
13 ghosts and The Order from Ryan (last time my mom got me both... but she got me the Van Damm (???) version of The Order which i had wanted the Heath Ledger one, and the oooold version of 13 ghosts, which I didn't know existed ha hah )
lots of stuff from Grandma: 1 sweater, 1 robe, Antz, Road Trip, 1 pretty nightgown, 1 pair of psychadelic slippers, Kerplunk (yes!), Othello (yes!), the game of Life (yes!) (I LOVE board games... we'll be playing Kerplunk with Nick tonight... going over to Ry's uncle's house or some such thing for christmas today), a couple pairs of pretty socks (one with penguins on them, one with frogs in santa hats ha ha ha), and this box of mini lotions and perfumes.
and I think that covers everything.... *grin*
I wanna go back to beeeeeed.... (got woken up at 7am).... but the dogs are locked in the laundry room (right next to my room, for those who've never been in my house) cause they ran away and got dirty and smelly and wet this morning and Pup keeps barking and barking and barking.
Oh, good news! Last night at 1 am I got a text message from my friend Tina W. saying Merry Christmas! I was so excited! Last time me and krystal tried to call her (we're talking 6 mos.- 1 yr ago) her phone was shut off and we thought we'd probably never hear from her again. So I called her right away and she didn't answer... but called back a little while later... and we talked for a good half hour or so! What a grand christmas present! Hearing from her was the best Christmas present of all.
Off to play the Sims... cause I'm not addicted or anything. :-) I'm currently trying to get my Sim to marry his neighbor's husband... but they keep getting into arguments for silly reasons (you fool, haven't you noticed I've been standing the whole time I'm over here!). Off to work on that..... :-)
