One fish, two fish.

Sundays have always been meant to be lazy days. In the winter, sometimes the characteristic laziness of the day means building a fire in the fireplace and making snowmen and making sure there's hot chocolate onhand for afterward; in the spring, watching everything come alive again; in the fall, raking the mess of the falling leaves away as the ( Read more... )

I heard about the Sneetches. Once upon a time, the was an entry about Green Eggs and Ham in my journal, but I never did finish that entry and it never saw the light of day. A shame, Sam I am not.

It was a good day. This is how I always remembered Sundays. Tossed salads, George Foreman and Supersoakers.

It's getting easier by the minute now. Can you feel it?

I wrote a poem about the Sneetches once. I don't know where it is. Years and years ago, probably on a folded paper somewhere in Vancouver that I'll find when I finish unpacking everything sometime. I thought about going through everything now to look for it to post it with this, but I was feeling too lazy. It's Sunday. You could finish that entry sometime.

Haven't spent a Sunday like this in awhile, it was good to have that again. We should do this more often.

I can, you can almost see the weight being lifted sometimes.

We should but it'll be another two weeks before spending time with these boys. Next up, you'll be spending time with my other boys.

It feels good.

Two weeks is kind of a long time when you think about it. Do your other boys play with water guns too?

It does, doesn't it. It's something new.

We play with a lot of things. Big boys toys. Remember to bring your bathing suit. Just not too revealing, or I'll have to take the shirt off my back for you to wear.

It's been a long time.

Like guitars? I almost forgot my end of the deal, that I promised to wear that. I guess I'm pretty stuck now. You could take the shirt off your back and I wouldn't stop you.

Sometimes when so long elapses between feeling something you forget how it feels.
