hmmm

I woke up from my nap a little cranky this afternoon. I realized that I am getting annoyed that some people never seek to better themselves. There are partners at work who really are only there to get the paycheck. Then there are partners who are there to make coffee and have real interactions with people. I am never satisfied with my life. I am always making changes, whether larger or small. Then I am reminded daily that some people never change at all, and do the same thing day in and day out. I feel bad for them because in all honesty, change is good. Stop getting your iced quad Venti suger-free vanilla, sugar-free hazelnut nonfat latte every day and try some tea instead. Stop coming home from work every day to drink beer and watch tv, and go watch a theatre production at a local high school. Stop sleeping away your entire existence and go out end enjoy the beautiful weather we are having (this is something I am guilty of). Yes, change is really a good thing. Take a different route to work tomorrow morning; maybe you'll notice a new antique shop you've never seen before. Engage in a conversation with a complete stranger, and you might find out you're not strangers at all. There's a great quote from a great movie, "I don't want to feel like an ant!" It's true. I don't want to feel like I am on autopilot all the time. Go here, do this, come home. So everyone who reads this, do me a favor tomorrow and do something DIFFERENT in your daily routines :0) I think you'll be surprised at how refreshing it really is!
