First off, well right after I get done with this im writting a letter to the ECHL... Parillo is on my shit list and will be for a very very long time. IM not saying there should not be fighting in hockey, there should be. I do have a problem when a guy basically give up and he still beats the living shit of of someone. Match - Attempt/Deliberate injury (43(a)) I hope he get suspended at least 3 games for this crap. Poor Martin. Blood was pouring from his face as he was getting like 10-15 punches while he was on the ground and couldnt defend himself. With all the excitement going on I didnt see the Cyclone who had to knock Prillo off Martin.
Anywho, have I said how much I love hockey being back in Cinci. Beides the assault Cyclones kick ass again 4-0. I love how the ECHL picked us 24th out of 25 teams. Gajda scored late in the 1st to give the Clones an lead going into the first intermission. Jason Deitsch a local boy slapped a shot past Koopmans late in the 2nd and Scott Reynolds scored one of his two goals before the end of the 2nd. Reyonolds would put the icing on the cake a little past midway into the 3rd to give the good guys a 4-0 lead. My boy GM Daoust added two assists giving him 3 early into the season. Then all hell broke lose. Cedric Desjardins showed why he is the #1 goalie posting a shutout. This team sticks together and should be fun to watch this year.
