(no subject)
Hm, well I havent updated in a while.
Things are pretty good, I am nannying and working for SDS on an internship type thing. Both can be stressful, but I don't know what I would do if I didn't have those kids, what would I talk about?!
Mike and I are doing wonderfully. He made the mistake of telling me when he was planning on having the "talk" with my parents, and after I spazzed out because I didnt want to know, he isn't going to do it right now. I really want to be surprised, but now it was almost exciting that I knew, and to see my parents act all sneaky would be funny, since I'd already know about it. Oh well, I am just hoping to have a ring before next May so that I can be engaged when I tell my parents that Mike and I are moving in together. It'd make my life a little easier.
I can't believe that summer is almost over! I did a number of things on my "summer to do" list, but I know I wont get to a couple things. I did not meet my weight loss goal, but I have lost about 15 lbs this summer, which is better than nothing. My new goal is to be able to wear something revealing for Halloween. I never have, and I'd like to sometime before I get too old. So, we'll see. I am also waiting to get my tattoo until then, I figured that would be a great reward/incentive.
Other than that, my life is pretty dull. I am definitely looking forward to friends returning to marquette, but I reeeeeally don't want to deal with classes yet. Ugh. 3 more weeks of freedom!!
