Hi, I'm a new member here and pretty new to Kyo Kara Maoh. I recently finished watching the anime, and I've read a few novel excerpt translations and some of the drama cd translations. I have a question regarding one of the drama cds. (
Cut for possible drama cd spoilers )

Wow! I didn't know about this! :D Even in the anime, Murata is almost always unquestioned in everything he does. There are lots of moments where Murata is rather touchy feely with Yuuri, and Wolfram doesn't react at all. That Murata deliberately teases Wolfram knowing that Wolfram won't fight back is so amusing! <3 Thanks for pointing this out. :)
Also, Murata repeatedly tells Yuuri never to underestimate Wolfram's skills as a soldier, even though Wolfram lost to Yuuri at their first duel. He actually tells Yuuri not to doubt his "fiance" :->
Another reason why I love Murata so much! He seems like a big supporter of the YuurixWolfram match and one of the few characters who takes Wolfram seriously. :)
Apart from that, Wolfram's extreme resemblance to Shinou is my favourite thing about the canon. Identical descendant of the dashing man without whom there probably wouldn't ( ... )

Yeah :-> Murata's usually so diplomatic and tactful, it's interesting that he'd try to harmlessly incite Wolfram. Whether he does it because Wolfram looks like Shinou (& that gives him a kick) or because Wolf is hot tempered, is debatable.

Lots of people, fans included, fail to take Wolfram seriously. But yes, Murata's one of my favourite characters on the show. It helps that Miyata Kouki captures his personality perfectly.
I hope this is also foreshadowing of Wolfram's importance in the future!May I give you a spoiler? Oh I'll tell you anyway, I can't keep it in! In novel 8, a pair of clairvoyant twin girls from the Shinzoku tribe meet Yuuri & Wolfram. They decipher that Wolfram has a noble soul, and is qualified to be a ruler. And hence they're surprised that he's subordinate to Yuuri ( ... )

So true! It's sad that people have such a superficial view of Wolfram. :(

Wow, Yuuri and Wolfram are truly equals. :D I will take this as more shipping evidence. XD
