When how why did Wolfram fall for Yuuri?

I am a recent fan of KKM and of Wolfram/Yuuram. I've watched the whole anime and read every bit of the novels that is available in English, but I still have a question regarding Wolfram's feelings for Yuuri. At the beginning, because Yuuri is half Mazoku and half human, Wolfram looked down on him the same way he did with Conrad. However, it seems that after their duel, Wolfram's attitude towards Yuuri significantly changed. And by the time of the coronation, Conrad remarked that Wolfram was "pretty fond of" Yuuri.
My question is, what is it about Yuuri that changed Wolfram's feelings toward him so much after such a short time? He hated Conrad for so many years just because Conrad has human blood in his vein. Yuuri is the same, but it took Wolfram only a few days(?) to change his attitude toward Yuuri? This makes me think about what the difference is between Conrad and Yuuri that could have led to this. Beside the fact that Conrad is Wolfram's own brother that he, unknown to himself, cares a great deal about, he and Yuuri are both kind, compassionate, etc., albeit Yuuri is a bit more softhearted (wimpy) than Conrad. The main difference I think is the fact that Yuuri has Maou power (strong maryoku) while Conrad does not. Wolfram always think about Conrad as a human, but during their trip through the dessert (before they met the sand bear) Wolfram said Yuuri is a Mazoku. So is Yuuri's maryoku power the reason why Wolfram's attitude changed from hatred to liking then love? I'd love to hear your point of view regarding this.
I wish we could see a little bit into Wolfram's mind to understand him better. He always tries to hide his emotional side, but I really think he's a caring and passionate person with a lot of love to give. Then again, it's fun to try to analyze and interprete his true feelings given his attitudes. It seems the prologue to Novel 9 is Wolfram's thoughts regarding Yuuri. I'd really love to know what he's thinking there. Would someone be kind enough to translate it, please? (Pretty please with sugar on top ;-)
