I'm literally closing up my laptop to leave town but I had to comment and say that your post? Is full of win. I think I was giggling the whole time. "Captain Exposition" is my new favorite phrase.

I love this episode :) I love all the plotty ones XDXD

Wolfram and Conrad's relationship is so interesting! I hate the animators for never giving it more attention! Okay, so Yuuri is the maou, and yes, everyone should protect him, but you can't just neglect brotherly bonds like that!!! *sobs*

Gunter and Gwendal... *laughs her ass off* I do believe this is the moment all Gwendal/Gunter fans started to fall XD

Wonderful job with the episode!! "phallic shaped"... I never realised how suggestive that screencap looked!

The thing is, that bread loaf isn't really that suggestively shaped, but I think that the animators were kind of grasping at fanservice straws.

And yes, this was the episode that turned me on to the Gunter/Gwendel ship. ;)~

Ahh, now I remember why this is in my top 5 favorite KKM episodes. ^^ (Just behind episode 18, of course.)

The little subplot with Gunter and the crown is rather..."random," as Gwendal puts it, but let's be honest, it's gotta be one of the funniest moments in the series. Not only do we get a veritable smorgasbord of Anissina's inventions, but the evil curse being undone by Gwendal's kiss? Classic. XD

Naturally, just speaking as a Yuuram fan here, I love the exchange between Yuuri and Wolfram at the end of this episode. It seems to be the first time the two really CONNECT on an emotional level. Plus, the flashback with wee little Conrad and Wolfram is muy adorable. <3

His ego stroked, Wolfram begins to cave.
That bit cracks me up EVERY TIME. Something about Yuuri's face makes him impossible to say no to. ^^;;

YES. The whole Gwendel/Gunter crown thing is utterly pointless, but it's still frickin' HILARIOUS. It's definitely one of my favorite funny moments in the entire series.
