So they start off introducing us to Beries and.... someone, who are talking about Yuuri.
Annnd this someone is apparently a nightlight. Anyway.
Cut to the Shibuya's~!
Shouri's already doing his whole "call me onii-chan" thing.
And he does a glasses flash! ...As he chews Yuuri out about schoolwork.
Yuuri scraaaaams to the tub at Shouri's tutoring offer.
And we're back to Shin Makoku!
Yuuri and Conrad chat about older brothers and Conrad goes to... comfort? Wolfram.
Hey look, they actually brought Gunter somewhere.
I dunno, I think Yuuri might've preferred if they left him though... Or at least left the school books. D:
Anyways, they’re here!
Yuuri waves happily to Fluurin as they approach Caloria and get ready to dock.
Oh mai~ Yuuri and Flurin peacefully talk in front of a window
as Gunter and Conrad restrain Wolfram from flaming a bitch interrupting, as Flurrin says she has something special to give to Yuuri...
Which is an invitation to a hot spring!
Uh. Gunter's happy......
Shadowed person hops from..... somewhere down to a lone horse sitting in the path. He does some fancy 'oh look at my shiny sword' moves, and Conrad springs into action~!
The carriage starts heading off as Conrad charges at the figure.
Wolfram yells at Yuuri for sticking his head out the window.
Then he sticks his head out the window.
And after an awkwardly long pause yells "CONRAD!" I... was that supposed to be brotherly love or concern or something? Okay...
Anyway, the guy runs off and Conrad catches up with the others.
Gunter's laying down looking sick and mumbling about being with Yuuri. And Wolfram surprisingly seems sick too. Which is when they realize, oh hey they use houseki (Kinda like Superman's kyrptonite. Or pollution to Captain Planet. those magic stones that hurt demons) in the hot springs.
...
Why, thanks for that Fluurin. :| Shouldn't you know about demons and houseki?
Oh well... Conrad and Yuuri are on the way to take a bath wheeeeen.
Yozak!
Apparently he's here on Gwendal's orders.
They learn the king is Saralegui and he became king at 15 too.
Conrad and Yozak catch something Yuuri (of course) misses. Conrad heads off to check it out while Yuuri and Yozak go ahead.
Gee, that bath looks nice.
Wait what. Inflatable sheep. :3 Apparently sheep baths are common. Okay. It is KKM.
Conrad and Beries meet.
Back to the bath~
Yuuri freaks out when a.... woman comes in. And Yozak is too sexy for his towel, too sexy for his towel, so sexy it wows, so he quickly whips off his towel and dumps it on Yuuri to cover his double blackness.
BUT WAIT. THAT WOMAN IS A MAN.
EVEN MORE. IT'S SARALEGUI
...
So dinnertime.
Wolfram and Conrad are looking pretty peeved that Sara was bathing with Yuuri.
They talk about the problems that happened and oooh. Sara wants an alliance with Shin Makoku.
The boys meet up late at night. oh mai~
YUURI IS SO HAPPY SARA WANTS TO BE HIS BFF. Or something.
Ooh, Sara's taking off his glasses and charging his lasers.
Then he starts telling Yuuri how much he wants to work with Yuuri and he needs his help and Yuuri should come to him and reaches his hand out....
Holy crap cockblocked I don't even know what really happened. But they stopped for some reason. And we see Yozak was spying in the background on this.
Yuuri meets up with Sara the next day, with Conrad and Wolfram in tow. But not Gunter. Which they make a point to say. :|
Bad omen bird back at Shin Makoku~! :D That's always a good sign.
Gwendal is happy
... uh... but that quickly changes. And a messenger pigeon comes.
That poor pigeon. He is very brave.
Shouri plays computer porn games. And Murata bursts in, shoes in hand, and drags Shouri to the tub.
SHIN MAKOUKU HERE THEY COME.
OH HAI SHINOU~ :D
Annnnnnd that's the episode! We get cute chibis in the credits though~
Sorry, this is gonna be pretty short, cause I’m writing this part, like, now and posting this at school, because Iiiii am a pretty fail mod and don’t follow my bad example and do get eeeeeverything done and written up ahead of time. D:
Iiiii liked it. I’ve always like the first ova though. There seems to be plot! But we know what happens to plot in this show… orz
There’s a lot that happens in this episode. New characters are introduced. (Beries and Sara) Old characters come back. (SHINOUSHINOUSHINOU) and it seems like something big’s going down.
But seriously. Shouldn’t someone have known about the houseki in the hot springs or am I missing something obvious? Cause that kind of bugs me.
Also what exactly made Sara stop with his… idk Dracula-esque, ‘you will be miiiine’?
Did I miss something there too? I remember when I first saw it, I had the impression it had something to do with Sara realizing Yozak was watching but…. I dunno….
Well, anyway, that was the first episode! I hope everyone’s ready and raring to go for the rest of it!
