Hurrah for Anissina's first appearance! :D I think she was an absolutely vital character to introduce at this point, allowing the audience to glimpse Gwendal in a position where he's *not* totally jaded and condescending. Because, up until now, that's all we've really seen of him. Suddenly, we realize he's got problems of his own... Oh, such problems... XD

Agreed! Anissina and the knitting make Gwendal so much more well rounded. Between that and his love of cute things, I was so sold. XD Stoic men with cute fetishes and fears of women inventors are for the win! <3

I don't think Gwendal is jaded and condescending; I just think he'd rather not babysit another brat when he has more important things to do like taking care of a country. Also, considering so much of what Yuuri says at the moment are gaming references anyways, Gwendal probably is thinking Yuuri isn't being serious with this at all.

Compound that with the fact he absconded during the inauguration ceremony...

But yes, Gwendal in panic mode? PRICELESS!

Murata looks sexy at ALL times. But I agree when I saw him without glasses on in this ep I went aslfjgkldshnbalkh &hearts. Just seeing something new and different, I guess? XD

So first, my independent thoughts on the episode and then my replies to your snark!

Okay, I admit it. I AM A JENNIFER SHIBUYA FANGIRL! *hearts* The whole scene with her and Yuuri not wanting to explain to her about the Demon King and she already knows! Calling her husband “Ume-chan.” And her asking if the baby has WINGS! *dead* She’s just perfect for Yuuri’s mom, and a great character. Every time I see her on screen I can’t stop smiling. ^_^

And also we get Anissina! Her and her kooky inventions (very slight spoiler - although did anyone else notice there’s no “-kun” at the end, there?) But I love the play between her and Gwendal and her and Gunter and how Conrart and Yuuri are endlessly amused by it all. <3 Anyone who makes Gwendal quake in his gorgeous boots is a deity in my eyes! LONG LIVE THE WOMEN OF KKM, yes/yes?? ^_^

Slight spoiler - Gwendal makes me laugh with that

Jennifer has to be the best character out of all of them and Anissina is so out there with her inventions yet completely nonchalant with the cleaning. You just know she's more deadly if she ever finds out you made more work for her than if you belittled her hobby. At least that's how I see her ^_

Did anyone else get the sense that Gunter was testing Yuuri here? Just a little bit? I mean, they did just come straight out of a bad situation with Celi who delegated all of her duties to Stoffel and look at how that turned out…
Testing him? Maybe. But Gunter's version of testing for Maou-ly diligence vs. "OMG let's see if he loves me enough to sit through mountains of paperwork!!!" are perilously close!

I love Jennifer!! XD I didn't much care for her at first when I began watching this series, but as I saw her more and more, she grew on me a ton. I want to tie on an apron and do house wifey things with her. I have a feeling the day would be spent in great amusement.

And for some reason I really like the Earth’s Maou whose name shall not be mentioned now because it’s a spoiler. I find him oddly attractive - he being a distinguished older man and stuff… Er… yeah… Maybe I’m just weird…

And of course Anissina is love!! She really keeps Gwendal on his toes!! :D

Concerning Shori: Is in college and likes to sleep late because he’s out all night partying. I can’t say I’m all that into partying (I’ve actually never been to a party before, besides small little ones with my friends), but I’m with him on the sleeping late.
