Ugh. It didn't really come out how I would've liked it. But, eh.

How did they always get into these conversations? Yuuri wanted to learn more about his kingdom and all, instead it had more turned into a conversation about loyalty and choices and how Murata had dedicated himself to his king and the years he sacrificed for him. He glanced over at the other boy, wondering if it ever bothered him, hearing stuff like that and being even more reminded of his past lives and everything.
It did bother Murata.
It bothered him a lot hearing them talk like that. It was always about him. Always about his loyal choices. Always about what he gave up. Always about how dedicated he was. Always about so many other things that would have been irrelevant had Shinou not completely given up everything himself. He willingly locked himself away with soushu for over 4,000 years. Locked away, fighting helplessly to keep from being completely suffocated in the darkness that he already knew had began to consume him. And he would fight it off enough so that he could make it back. Still here, but still tainted. Tainted and ready for execution.
And that was the far braver choice.
