Wow.
Spent the entire day sleeping. Just woke up about forty minutes ago; going to have some food and then go right back to sleep. Sleep is my friend...
All Christmas shopping is done with only a single caveat - some of the pieces I was looking for had to be ordered in and won't be in until after the massing for Christ. This means the presents will be a little later than I would like, which sucks, but such is the way of things. The point is the money is all spent and the shopping is all done. Except for Emily's... was going to pick that up today but will do so Monday instead. Again, such be life.
Need to call Andy and see how Astrology is coming; that's the second Mercedes book. Or I suppose I could ask him next week...
Doing another movie night on the 16th. That's this coming Saturday, the first night of Chajewnakah. Latkes might be available, and driedals will not be necessary. Invitations extend to the usual goons and goombas - KT, Emily, Andy, Jason, Terry, Pete, Brian-Rob the Pirate, et al. Anyone else interested in coming needs just get in contact with me...
There's also talk of this one taking place in a different location; Brian-Rob the pirate just moved in here and has a much larger apartment and is getting a much larger television. If his TV arrives in time, he's agreed to host the damn thing himself. I have every intention of taking advantage of this...
Potential movies this time around include the Usual Suspects, the Big Lebowski, Stay Alive (pending on Terry... you coming?), In the Mouth of Madness; PotC: Dead Man's Chest, and whatever else I can get away with inflicting on people. The one movie that I will not be putting on? The Source. Rob's threatened to destroy the DVD if I whip that one out...
Short story's almost half way done and the skeleton of the thing I've got going with Satan is pending approval. Various options - viable ones - have come up that might get me out of the gas station. We'll see what the new year brings...
