Qigong with Jono, Maureen's Wheat Matzo, and (Invisible) Friends

I'm not one to gush, but "yippee." and "yeehaw."  My weekend so far has been pure hoopla, and it all centers around Friday night in Long Island City, Queens at the Creek and the river and the ocean and the lake grill, bar and restaurant.  There was a brief iffiness about the place on first arrival.  (Where tudey, New York styled, tattooed gelatinous breasts seem to spread there angry jiggle over kindly unsuspecting New Jerseyans.   Wear a scarf lady. You’re dangerous) However all and all the place was a great venue.  The sound was nice, the atmosphere was pretty chill, and there was no pressure from the normal male/female breasted management.
Let's talk about the sound cats.
Gina, Sean, Jingleling, and Emily Bate were amazing. Gina sounded very beautiful and her songs are so tight and professional.  I felt fucking lucky as hell to get a chance to sing/play songs like that.  I will refrain from sending sloppy kisses to my Lango boys, but for the record: THEY ARE BLACK. PERIOD.  And yals hear that synth and bouncy beat on regrets!? WHOA!  It was a pleasure meeting and singing with Emily Bate.  She's really great.  She's got an angelic voice and can play a mean Glockenspiel and Banjo.

Ahh.  Yea. Friday was really great.  The part that rivaled the performance was for an hour or so, Jing, Sean, Amanda and I spent our time in a community playground (Where technically no adults without the supervision of children could be).  Dad Dad and Moms played together as the late evening sunlight tickled the ground and an elderly squirrel expertly and warily sized us up.  Each person had a chance to slide on the what a slide should be, and strange "doggles" hiyaed in the distance like redmen.  And I don't know why this is so important to me, but there were building(s) on the left of the playground made of red brick.  That to me just seems to make an urban park.  I love red brick.  Oh! And jing, with his legs draped over the top of a spiraling green plastic coated playground thing, reminded Sean of constipation.  You know? hehe.

So did I have a great Friday day/night? Yea.  Was I sad that Jace didn't come? (Jace is coming...) Yes.  However I caught up with him Saturday and we merked.
