So a few things:
1. Best moment of the day (night actually). Walking out of a finished sign class, talking with the teacher of said class when I see someone I know walking towards us from the unlit end of the hallway. My brain kind of registers that she is with someone, but...well....
First of all the area in which she is walking is shadowy
And listen people, I'm not racist (!!), however we need to accept one phyisical fact of reality: black people blend well in the dark. They're born ninjas OK?
So, assuming that I was only addressing Ms. Richter I went on to address her. But not like this: "Hey! Ms. Ritcher! It is quite a fine evening is it not?" or "oh! Golly! you scared me! Mighty dark hallway you come approaching from!" I, like the white man I am-rather like the whitest guy at a curling match (ty s), who wanders to the four hundred yard sprints and forgets himself; says:
"YO!!! Ms. Richter!? Wazzzzzup!?"
it was god awful. That ninja reached down my throat, and ripped my racist tongue right out of my head.
2. Sean just got cheezits "because i need dinner after all."
3. I learned this great thing in sign class tonight. Well. You know how most of us participate in the lame activity of saying, "uh huh," "really?" "you don't say," to feign a fleeting interest in what the other person is saying? Well there are signs for that concept!!!! I have a ton of favorites, but the best is this: you sign the numbers 2, 5, 8. yeah. The hand shape of each number is similar to those for the phrase, "very interesting." But its easier to sign 2, 5, 8. Almost like acronyms. But better. Way better than your silly written/spoken languages. biotch.
4. President Gravel. "...I like the sound of that!"
"I'm going to clean up this town...yea...well you can start by cleaning this floor."
