Well...now that I've made a fool of myself trying to figure out the workings of livejournal with those last 3 entries, I've decided to redeem myself. This will be done by leaving another completely pointless, but most likely long entry about the boring and not-so-boring happenings that are my life.
So, let's start from the most exciting thing that's happened. Hmmmmm. Oh yes. Caitlin Ray and Kristine Mackin and I (last names included b/c I know too many caitlins and kristines with various spellings) went to see Hoobastank and Ludo in concert. We, of course, got lost. I think it's a rule that whenever I'm in a car I will get lost. It's science. It doesn't matter who's driving. Meh. As long as I'm not by myself. So we stopped in at a King Kong for dinner and there was this dude there by himself....*cue music*...Caitlin and Kristine both bought baklavas and I being the curious follower I am and the lover of food had to try this phenomena (ahhh did I spell that right??? Damn spelling.) So this dude asked what it was, and I was like, I dunno but I just ordered it. Then Caitlin came by and was like "Oh man, that stuff is the greatest! It rocks you need to get it." Then she left and he said "if this sucks I'm gonna be mad at you". You would think that this random encounter with loner man would end there but no. He sat at the table behind us and started a conversation. Which eventually led to him saying that he would let us follow him to the nebraska state fair (which wasn't all hicks btw!...sorry, so add). We followed him and of course, made fun of him the whole way. It was pretty much all stuff about him being a crazy man leading us to our deaths and us being blonde at heart willingly following him. But alas, we had no such adventure and made too much fun of a good samaritan. Then he got out of his car at the stoplight, gave us his businesscard and invited us to a party. That part was perhaps a bit creepy. But the story ends there.
The rest of the night goes as follows. Hoobastank rocked. Lead singer was fucking hot! Half asian dude with an amazing body, which meant he had to sing half the time with his shirt off to show it off. He knew he was smokin. Of speaking of half asians....I saw a girl who was half brown half black and she was pretty hot, so it's ok for me to have black babies now....just not chinese ones....that never turns out well. NEVER. Anywhoozle, after that we saw Ludo and I was converted to a fan. Andrew, the lead singer, was a pretty chill guy and funny as all hell. It reminded me of a combination of the Ben Folds lyrics and Tenacious D lyrics, with emo music, which rocks. I usually don't like emo stuff....but when I got there I discovered that it was more a pop punk kinda thing. So anyone looking to hear some smaller bands out there should give them a listen. They were funny as hell. I like Hum Along and Good Will Hunting the best b/c it had pirates and other great things. Good stuff.

Ok, so that was the most exciting day of my week. Woohoo. It really did rock though. Thsoe girls are awesome. And, Switch, if you are still taking the time to read my lj, then you should know that Kristine rocks and you guys will totally be friends. She already accepts you, even though you were math team captain. lol. Haha, I love you! Also...today I got my hair done!!! For as long as I can remember my hair has been lighter than my skin color, or at least WAY lighter than my natural color. Now it's a dark brown with orangey-red highlights. I don't really like it, but it cost a lot of money to get rid of all the lighter colors, mainly the white colors that were there b/c that idiot bleached my hair. So now, for college, I am funny looking. I totally miss my purple! Even that would match more things than orange. And now, I can't wear red!!!! Which is the only color I look half-way decent in. B.c they clash. Ahh. g2g. Peace kids.
