Your style is more manga and manga is a stylized way to draw, so to draw some lines on the faces make them older than your wishes. My style is... I don't know what it is, but it's full of lines so some of them on the faces changes nothing I think! XD Your Harry/Perry are perfect the way they are so don't worry and keep drawing please! *nods*

D: I'm trying to fall out of manga style and more towards Western comics a bit. Not completely, but to blend it together a little. >< My style is so limiting in expressions. The best thing I can do is a stupid chibi, but I feel so cheap when I draw them for people because they're usually so easy.
Mmmh usually is your hand that decide what kind of style is cozy for "her" (let's talk of the hand like a person LOL!) so you can force her in one direction but she'll find the own style on her own. ^^ You can do this: study real anatomy and real persons's posture (I know it's boring but it helps) make some life drawings and you'll see your hand will blend the manga and the realistic style together! It's hard to tame the hand, so set her free to do whatever she wants after teached her the various styles available and possible

Lolz naw you're not sounding like a grandma. Ish... *ducks a random flying rock* Um, well I'm not so satisfied with my own drawing style. It tends to evolve over time anyway, and sometimes it changes everyday or every week, like a chameleon (drives me nuts). Or when I draw girls, it becomes obnoxiously different from when I draw guys. I was going to find or scan black and white pages of comics, change them to a light gray and ink over them as practice.
I've taken anatomy but OMG, there's barely a difference. Do you know why? I'm so accustomed to switching directly between reality and fantasy with art that I have two or three completely different styles for them. The pencil strokes are still the same, but reality is real, and fantasy is fake. D: And when I try to cross them over I get these ugly drawings... But I'll keep trying, it'll work someday I think...
So, do you mind if I printed your pictures? They're so sexy I must stare at them more 0w0. I'm not making profits of course XD

Wellz, I'm 18, you? You're probably above 20 considering how long ago I saw you on Y!Gallery, or exactly 21? Well if I knew where an example of those ugly drawings were, I could show you. But it's sitting in that pile of bags and papers behind me *glances at it*. My art is... saddening. When I try to do a comic, like set up panels and stuff, my hand refuses to follow them and the picture comes out all... uniform and extremely stiff D: Oh, and let's not even discuss how the faces come out blarrggh.

So sweetie don't worry, it's normal that at 18 years old your style is "lunatic" (sorry for the strange term) at 18 my style was totally random and crazy! Your style is more manga and manga is a stylized way to draw, so to draw some lines on the faces make them older than your wishes. My style is... I don't know what it is, but it's full of lines so some of them on the faces changes nothing I think! XD

I need to work on faces. Was drawing sexual Pharry pic yesterday, but eesh I erased it all because the face came out weird.
