I went out to Blue Knob in PA for some skiing yesterday. I was pretty decent, considering the warm temperatures. Toward the end of the day, the loose stuff was swept away revealing the ice sheets underneath and I quit trying to deal with that mess. I also managed to fall.
I had some trouble sleeping and got up stiff and bent over. It was good as well that I had a rheumatologist's appointment today. I laughed about yesterday, since it had been a minor, low speed fall, but she asked several questions, then proceeded to poke, prod and manipulate my joints. Then she put me on an open-ended work restriction over a bruised/strained shoulder and bursitis in my right leg. Er....
So then I went to the stable and avoided lifting things or walking around too much. Mostly, I went for the social time, but I'm glad I did. The owner is having loads of dirt dropped off and one had several big gobs of clean, pale gray clay in it. The good stuff! She sent some kids over with a wheelbarrow to help me. They loaded the clods I pointed at and then took them to my car and loaded them in the back for me.
