We didn't run parcels this morning, though we should have, and we're still expected to scan our own if we want to get out anywhere near on time. Not that any of us did, regardless. I got back just a bit after six by skipping lunch and driving fast enough to upset people. One resident gave me a card that featured reindeer piloting airplanes with speedy contrails. :)

After work, Keith made us grilled cheese and soup and we opened presents. Yes, he'd chopped down a tree from a friend's parent's tree farm and the cats are being great about it. I got him the bluray LoTR trilogy, Grand Turismo 5 and that GPS mount he's been asking for since forever. He went on some gift giving spree and got me way more and wrapped it in prettier paper, as well. So I got: Batman: Year One (DVD), Soul Calibre IV, a controller for me, an ipod charger so I'll quit using his *g*, some jam, a replacement terry cloth bathrobe and an ASUS eeeTransformer (with a tiny piece of extra flash). That last one would obviously be shared between us, depending on who was traveling.

He told me that finding a proper terry cloth bathrobe in a store was pretty much impossible, which I already knew. They're all fluffy fleece these days which gives both of us a severe case of logic fail. Fleece repels water; it does not absorb it. Why the hell would you put on one of those while wet? To feel extra damp and tacky? As a cloak to stay warm around the house, sure, but after bathing? Yuck.
