(no subject)
Had a bump on C17 which I managed to finish before it started to rain. It kept threatening to storm but remained mostly cloudy instead. A retarded jaywalker tried to tell me how to drive when his idiocy gave him a proper scare. Meanwhile, I found the entire incident positively mundane because I habitually anticipate people/animal/objects hidden behind parked cars.
I merely swerved aside in case I actually needed to brake hard (which I didn't), slowed long enough for the fool to get out of the fucking road, and cut right back in to the box. I heard him blathering something about children being present in the community. Really? Gosh, I'd never noticed there tendency to pop out from behind things and plan accordingly. e_e Curiously, the children all seem to understand that the road is not a sidewalk.
I tried to go to aikido but I'd gotten out late, stopped to pick up my lyrica and there was some shitty ball game going on in Baltimore so there was nowhere to park. Feh. So I went grocery shopping. I liked the checkout clerk because she politely ignored me until I popped out my earbuds at which point she promptly greeted me. *nods* Good iPod etiquette there.
