If anyone had been around today to witness it, besides Carrier13, you could have seen and heard me make hysterical choking noises. In fact, he paused in the midst of loading his truck to check on me because I sounded like a water buffalo being attacked by a crocodile. What happened, you ask?
The audioplaybook I was listening to. Y'know, the one with music and sound effects? There was a sex scene. D: It was was vague and there was a merciful fade to black but omg the voice actors totally ran with it and improvised because this author does not go into such detail. And... and... there was violin music. Yes! And these two kept trying to have sex and getting interrupted, so it kept happening. *wipes away tears of laughter*
I have also found the comic adaptation of Pride & Prejudice & Zombies at the library. I hadn't realized that Elizabeth Bennet was portrayed as a murdering sociopath in it, but just skimming through it proved hilarious.
Also, we have tickets to DragonCon. I've secured a room with a hot tub for Thursday through Monday so even if the con, for some bizarre reason, sucks, we'll still be able to act like idiots for the weekend. Plans are for him to go as Bucky Captain America and me as Thor. We're debating on whether or not I should include the beard, though I'm inclined to consider it a necessary component of the costume.
