Last night, since it was warm and clear, we went for a ride. This night, we did mock camping. That's where we go somewhere close, stay up late burning things, then go home to sleep in a climate controlled environment. We brought Ace and we had a repeat visitor. First time for everything. Greenbelt allows pets and we know Ace likes to go for walks, so we brought him along. He got scared once while walking in the woods and turned into flying cat for about ten seconds, but then go over it. He eventually decided the fire was scary but warm and if I was laying down next to it, so could he. Every now and then, he would get excited and start telling us all about it.

Oh, I know I was. We stayed in Greenbelt National Park, which is right inside the beltway and features wildlife sounds such as: trains, helicopters and random gunshots. But, it's well patrolled, close and open year round.
