A sign?
In about nine days, I head off on an adventure! I'm headed to Tanzania to "get grounded" in doing developing regions research. My advisor and his gang will be there for the first week or so; I'll stay on for three. I'll be in Dar es Salaam, and hopefully see some rural areas as well.
The details of what I'll do is still being hammered out, but tentatively, I'll be helping to count things in a HIV/AIDS treatment program in Dar. In preparation, I've been looking over some reporting code for a health program in Rwanda. I found this:
