This is just too much.
I can't really talk about it too much, but Lucy died today.
She was having what I thought were allergies and I took her to the vet today. They did a heart worm test which came back negative. They did a chest x-ray that showed fluid on her lungs. She had her nails trimmed. The vet called me to let me know they were going to give her some decongestant and antihistamine, give her her booster shots, and I should come get her in a half hour. It wasn't even ten minutes later the vet called me to tell me that she vomited up blood and died.
I went and got her and Tom is going to bury her in the back yard.
