What I really like and admire about people is their willingness to stick to their guns. It is so much easier to follow the crowd and do things because they are accepted as status quo. I've been pretty lax about this, because initially I thought I was letting myself experience things I never have before. But now that I have already had the experience, any future endeavors are just forced and insincere and meaningless. It's clear to me now why I chose a different route than you, but it's difficult to steer myself in the right direction now that we get to walk side by side.
