And finally VK is ending (from the spoiler).... I was disgusted because of the playing around nature of the heroine (how she was back and forth between two guys).... Well, even though I thought she was likable in the earlier stage of the manga, I became indifferent, then started disliking and now detest her.... oh why Kaname, why do you have to love her..... I wanted to support you, and am still supporting you... All I want is your happiness; so even though I detest her, I am tolerating her for Kaname's sake... I will be happy and deal with whatever makes you happy (dead or alive with that detestable girl). However, I cannot support either pairing because of the lack of their development... "Love is in the air" atmosphere is not enough.. there should have been a solid relationship..My point is that after this love, what comes is commitment, acceptance and fulfill the love - promise, responsibility... Love does not end there-confess and done, it is not like that simple matter. As a matter of fact, To achieve something is hard, but to maintain the achievement is harder than that... You love someone, it is fine, but the path that comes after this love is even harder; and for that, you need determination, toughness, commitment and stubbornness to hold it tightly, which is lacked in both pairings - the heroine in Kaname and her pairing and other guy in her and him pairings (other was not earnest and brave enough to make her look at him and give her a choice instead of pushing her away - how coward!!!). Anyway, the mangaka chose what she thought befitted her story (stupid love triangle) and what is done is done, but it would have better if the heroine genuinely loved Kaname and things liked that happened (after all, they were engaged to become husband and wife though Kaname gave up on her in the end). However, she apparently does not (so far nothing is mentioned in the last and current arc) and is still somehow confused and Kaname has to and now is trying hard to correct the situation by provoking or triggering someone with some incident and pretend...sigh.... really Kaname how long are you going to give in to her whim.... and what she has to say for her stupid immature behavior toward Kaname... really why is she doing this!!!!!!!!
I have been wondering for some time now what sort of tragedy the mangaka wanted to show us or if it is a tragedy at all. I mean other than Kaname (I have been depressed for some time now) I would love see the heroine dead (the other character won't die anyway, but it is none of my concern), so what sort of tragedy this is!!! Besides, there is no genuine love between the pairing in the story (Kaname's one-sided after her declaration of love for other guy and her and him would be together like her wish in chap 88-a possibility) that is worth mentioning and make me moved or sympathized with them: and for some strange reason (pity huh really pity!!!!! pitying Kaname makes me so angry and sad-heartbreaking further) she is willing to die (to me, for no reason or perhaps for some sort of obligation or feeling of indebtedness) for Kaname... I feel like vomiting whenever she mentions love... does she know anything about love, if she did, then she would not pity Kaname and not hurt him anymore by acting like this, and yet all Kaname ever wants is her happiness (seriously, her action does not make sense to me anymore, really is she a nutcase!!!???). Therefore, I cannot find any tragedy related to pure and genuine love in the story other than the death of Kaname...
Anyway, perhaps tomorrow after release of the translated and scanlated version, I will post another entry to rant or discuss the chapter.
