I arrived safely at my sister's house in Maryland. I stopped in Shrewsbury for 15 or 20 minutes because it was raining so hard that I couldn't see the car in front of me. (It didn't have its lights on, like half the other cars on the highway.) There was a lot of traffic for most of the drive. The Baltimore beltway had less traffic than usual though. Traffic was still heavy there, but it was moving at highway speed with no traffic jams.

This had me imagining cars practicing social distancing. I really wish they would. I get so sick of tailgaters.

What's with the "Hon" ?
It is nice to be looking at a different set of walls and a different view out the window. It is also nice to finally see the new paint job on my sister's house. It looks good although it is more gray and less blue than I expected. It is not good to see that the people two house down from her are still flying their confederate flag.
And of course, when I got here, I found I'd gotten a voicemail message from someone wanting me to work. The thunderstorm caused problems with her computer. I need to call her back and see if I can get her going again over the phone. I also heard from one of my long-distance clients last night wanting some work done, so I know I have at least a little bit of paying work on next week's calendar.
