Home for the weekend
So Hannah's reading was amazing. I landed in Bham about noon (had a 6:20am flight from Burlington and 2 layovers) and by 1 we were cooking up a storm. Which, by the way, was what the weather was like last night. Huge thunderstorm. So, her and Greg each read 4 pieces, which were great. The creative writing teachers said it was the ideal reading.
Oh and I got to see Mrs. Chin and Mr. Gordon. A good reminder of Mr. Gordon's smiles and Mrs. Chin's faces. "Really...Why would you want to do that?" [Insert Mrs. Chin face]. And of course the fact that none of us visits or writes. Oh yeah and Joanna there was a brief discussion of you. Mrs. Chin was surprised to learn that you were at Huntington, although Mr. Gordon knew that. Mrs. Chin also claimed that you were shy, but me and Mr. Gordon refuted that.
Oh and I saw Juliana and Cedric. So lots of hugs. :) They wanted me to call them later to go clubbing, but after getting 4 hours of sleep and waking up at 4:30, I wasn't really up to it. Although we did stay up till 1 eating Chinese food (none of us actually got to eat all the great food we made) and watching a movie. So, all in all a long day with a great ending.
