Return to Home Page Return to Wills This last Will and Testament of me Thomas Tilsed of the Town & County of Poole Sail Maker being under bodily affliction but of sound memory and understanding & knowing the uncertainty of this life do make this my last will and testament that is to say
I nominate Robert Miller, Cooper, & George Harrison Sail Maker both of ye aforementioned place my whole & sole Executors & whom I also direct and appoint to take possession of all my Estate goods property &c of all kinds whatsoever and wheresoever immediately at my decease
and after my just debts & funural expenses are discharged to dispose of my property in the manner following viz
first that is to say I give & bequeath unto William Hambleton & Martha his wife of the Town of Portsea in Hants one half of my property I might be possessed of at my decease
Secondly I give & bequeath the remainder half to be equally divided between Martha Maynard of the Town of Portsea Widow and Sarah Hambleton of the Town and County of Poole widow
as witness my hand and seal this third day of November 1800

This will was proved at London the twenty eighth day of May in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and one before the Right honorable SirWilliam ?Wynne? Knight Doctor of Law Master Keeper or ?Golwnpary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted
by the Oath of George Harrison one of the Executors named in the will to whom Administration was granted of all and ?singular? the Goods Chattels and Credits of the deceased
his having first made a Solemn and ?sincere? declaration or affirmation according to Act of Parliament (by ?Gounission) duly to Administer//
Power reserved of making the xxx Grant to Robert Miller the other Executor named in the xxx Will when he shall apply for the same.
